Two dates no pay

Two dates no pay

First, where are you getting $1 beer!

Next, drop this loser. He should at least offer to pay. If he doesn't have any money and he's as great as you say he is, then you all can work from there but he needs to tell you if being broke is the actual situation.

It is possible he is between jobs and does not want to tell you, or its possible he in the day where he thinks every lady should pay as men have been for years now. Cough it up and ask him otherwise you will never know.

If he is between jobs he should tell her so she has the choice to pay for him, rather than just sponging off her. I was working at one point, dating a guy doing a postgrad degree and I paid for probably 70% of what we did, and our bills. That was fine-it was my choice, but everyone should get that choice.

I haven't dated for a while and perhaps I'm a bit old fashioned, but it was always the person who asked for the date who was expected to pay. Did he ask you or did you ask him? If he asked you but then let you pay, then dump him. If you asked him, he is probably assuming that you will pay as it's pretty traditional.

The $1 beer is only on tuesdays at this local place :)

I guess we both just agreed to hang out and it was no big deal for me to pay but just kinda weird like he's not being gentlemanish (if that makes sense)

I think I should just ask him huh?

Go right ahead and ask, have you been on other dates? does he pay? By the way, it wasn't clear in you first post, did he pay for his beer or did you have to pay for you both?

Usually a few tries his best to impress a woman on the first couple of dates. He has done nothing financially to impress you and that's not good. Just be cautious!!

Ok so I figured I would give him another shot... We went out to eat and I played the 'oh crap I left my wallet at home' the minute we sat down and I figured, he would say 'it's cool i got this'... but... he said 'oh well do you want to go get it?!!!' WOW! I said yes I would. He got up and drove me back home! I never came back out.

I don't believe it, you certainly did the right thing. He's definitely a user. No good, I am sorry for that poor woman who gets sucked in by his charm.
