The New Ziploc evolve Bags

Has anyone tried these new bags to see if you get the same storage quality as Ziploc's regular bags? They are supposed to be made using wind energy, packaged in a 100% recyclable box, and 25% less plastic. The only bad thing I see with this small step in the right direction is they are still using plastic and when you throw the bags away, they still end up in landfills and are just as bad as other plastic bags!
