Is Survey Doctor legit?

The Google adsense for the Igotgot forums frequently displays a link to a site called TheSurveyDoctor.com and the ad claims you are able to earn 40 dollars per hour with no startup fees required.

Has anyone here had any experience with The Survey Doctor, and do they work as advertised or is it a scamA confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; ?

Since I am constantly looking for more work and ways to make more money, I can only hope it is legit...but I am expecting people to say otherwise.

Thanks in advance everyone.

I just did a Google search, but I didn't come up with anything other than a link to a site that I needed a login to access. I do a lot of paid surveys, but I've never heard of Survey Doctor. My advice would be to steer clear of them if they ask you for any money.

The Too Good to be True thing applies here, 40/hour is a colossal sum, plus, if its done online, how the Hell do they know how many hours your putting in?

If they ask for money, don't do it, period. And make sure not to download any software from them either, be cautious about the whole thing.

I do not think they require money, but I still really wish I could come across somebody who has actually used the service and can comment on it's quality a little bit.

As for the $40 an hour, that may be based off the amount of surveys you can complete within an hour and not the actual set rate per hour. Either way, I really wish somebody could tell me more :(

Yes, it is based on how long the survey should take and the amount you would be paid for it. However the trouble is that you rarely get enough surveys to make that amount in a month, let alone in an hour.

They just like to get you interested with a tag line like that, but don't come up with the goods.

I have not tried the whole survey thing yet, but from what I have heard, you are right. Friends say that they have received about 10 surveys a month, some maybe a bit more. I think they just do not deliver.

I've just signed up for it but I'm more interested in the discount coupons than the cash. I agree on not downloading anything though.

Hmmmm Survey Doctor, looks like the Doctor is out & doesn't make home visits!!!!! I'm not receiving any return emails for assistance & bigger still, even though I signed up, I have nowhere to go to log in! Me thinks this is a farce.

ScamA confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; , scam, scam! They aren't responding to any of my emails. These upstart companies are folding faster than lawn furniture! Their marketing was great when they started but the economy is bringing everybody back to reality.

There are many legitimate paid research companies available but not through lists or services like this. Just Google paid surveys and weed through the crap to see which companies that people are getting paid from. The services are full of scams that simply fill your inbox with spam or won't pay you unless you complete other offers.

My online Survey experience is decided negative. I earn lots of points and got lots of "chances to win". I just never got enough actual cash to make it worth the effort. I steer clear of surveys almost completely now.
