Septic Tank

We called to have a septic company come out and give us an estimate to empty our tank and let us know what all would be involved. They came by while we were gone and actually cleaned out the tank and left us a bill. We called them and asked what was going on and explained the situation and that we did not order a cleaning. We were checking companies to see what we wanted to do. Oh, they wouldn't admit that they weren't supposed to clean it out and insisted we were responsible for the hefty bill. Urrggh.

I wouldn't pay the bill. They don't have anything with your signature on it stating you wanted anything other than the estimate which you requested over the phone. If you didn't sign any paperwork authorizing them to do any work, then they just did the work for free! Now go work on filling up that clean septic tank!
