Security Deposits on Jobs
I would like to know what you all think of security deposits for jobs on the internet. I have come across many jobs that I would like to do, but they want security deposits before they send out information to you on what you will be doing or for training in the job. What do you think about this, have you ever paid them and not gotten your stuff. I have have from a few and with others just received information on how I can do what they are doing.
Yes, I was stupid and always fall for it cause I am in need of an income.

I would not say you were stupid, perhaps a bit naive, or maybe even a little foolish, but that main thing to remember here is: Did you learn from this mistake? I certainly hope so. As for myself, no matter how badly I need an income, I am not paying someone to hire me. I hope things go better for you soon.
This smells of scamA confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; all over. People do not pay security deposits to work, it really is as simple as that.
I would never pay a security deposit for a job, especially online. Any job that requires you to pay, especially just for information about the job. I have never been asked to provide a security deposit either.
Put it this way; would you pay a boss in person, a deposit to hire you? There is no way you would consider this normal or ok practise, and online is no different.
There are so many people out there that fall for this simply because they do not know any better. I would never pay anyone to in order for me to get the job. That is just dumb but nonetheless it happens to many times and some people never learn.
