Ripped Off By Boyfriend

My now ex boyfriend was stealing from me. I wasn't sure for a long time, as it was just small amounts here and there. But then he got more ballsy and was taking more and more. In the end he took $150 in one go, and turned up on our date off his rocker on booze and who knows what else.

What legal means do I have here, or am I just out of luck?

If he is not your boy friend now then why dont you leave him?Dont give him anything if he ask from you.Be brave.

I don't know how this falls into the site's topic, but I'll bite. If your ex was stealing from you and you can prove it, then by all means you could have called the police and had him arrested for theft. It might be too late if the statute of limitations ran out, or if he stole cash it'd be hard to prove, but I do think you have legal grounds for at least some civil suit or something.

If you have any way to prove it then you could definitely try to purse legal recourse. I sincerely hope that you're not dating this guy anymore and if you are either confront him and try to get an honest apology and promise never to do it again from him or walk away and never look back. I know it's easier said than done but it's really the only solution to something like this.
