Network Solutions Sucks - Who is the Best Domain Name and Hosting Company

I have about 30 domains registered with Network Solutions and they are the worst! They charge $35 per year for the domains and I can't move the domains to any other registrar.

Who is the best registrar out there providing fewer amounts of red tape and reasonable pricing? I am looking at Yahoo! Domains and GoDaddy domain registrations. Any suggestions for domain name registration and dedicated hosting would be appreciated.

Stay away from Network Solutions. You pay more for services which are STANDARD services provided by just about all registrars. Yahoo! Domains is pretty good and I haven't had any problems with them.

I have had the best success with Yahoo! Domains and NameCheap for registration. Dedicated hosting with HostGator has produced no complaints. Well, 1, they are no good with Java, but we changed our sites to use PHP and HostGator is great for dedicated hosting Apache + PHP + MySql sites.

Does Yahoo! also do web site hosting?

Every time I try to sign up for Yahoo! hosting, I see I am redirected to their small business center. So I do think they do hosting, but it is probably not a cheap service.

Right now, I deal with Lunarpages and they are decent. I have problems, but they are very responsive with their support.
