Well, this one wasn't totally money wasted, but I was lied to by the author!

This lady has come out and admitted that she lied in the book, but that the stories in the book are based on other people's true stories. I wonder if she gave those people any of the REAL money she made off of their REAL stories? Hell, she even lied about her name! She is Margaret Seltzer, not Margaret B. Jones. Her sister told on her and forced her to come out and tell the truth. She was never in a gang but knew girls who were in gangs who trusted her enough to tell her their stories.

People just can't get anywhere honestly any more.

This was supposed to be the book about the "Gang Memoirs" right? So she is not the one in the gang. How phony! People just lie about everything nowadays.

You know I never understood how people write memoirs. I mean how do you remember the exact time of day!!! I can't remember what I had for lunch this afternoon let alone specific details! I mean this author should've just said that it's not like we care, we read fiction all the time!
