If someone has betrayed you, swindled you, or scammed you in an affair of the heart, it is generally best to just go without saying a word. Typically, nothing that comes out of this person's mouth will be the truth, so why put yourself through more lies? Say goodbye and good riddance!

If I am betrayed by someone, I will not have a word when leaving. I am sure he/she already knows why I am leaving. He/she should know already what he have done and he/she should be ready already for the consequences.

It probably is best to say little to nothing...but I can't seem to keep my mouth (or hands! ha ha) shut during these types of break up...I can't resist the obvious, ''why''? (would someone scamA confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; /fraud) although as previously mentioned will be a lie no doubt...There is just something in me that always wants an answer...albeit an untruthful one! It's such a shame that we have to deal with people like this in life. And no doubt less said the better...I can't ever seem to let it lie...
