Forced continuity programs
My friend ordered some program online to supposedly teach her how to find and pick up foreclosed properties and then turnaround and flip the properties. Once we began reading the materials, then you find out that the foreclosureA legal process by which the lender seizes property of a homeowner, usually due to the homeowner not making timely payments on the mortgage. leads part is a membership program and you have to continue to pay each month. At no time in the infomercial or the telephone call did they say there would be an ongoing fee to actually get any value from the program.

These things are scams. Making money without using your money scams are really hot. There is no way for the masses to practice this without crashing the economy. You see what has happened with the mortgage mess so far. Imagine if it were this easy to 'flip' these properties.
These things will get you every time. Although legally, they're supposed to tell you that, when you sign up to buy the product/service, they will continue to charge you every month. However, most deceptive companies hide the "details" in such fine print, that you know nothing about the "forced continuity" until you've done been had.
Please, unless you're ordering from a well-established, reputable company, always read the fine print (usually called the terms of service) to see if your purchase is an ongoing monthly deal.
