Driveway Sealer Scam

Driveway Sealer Scam

A guy came by my grandparents home last fall and told my grandfather that his driveway needed to be sealed before winter. Well, grandpa's no dummy and it did need to be done. Two hours later the truck shows up with the sealer in it. They went to work and 1/2 hour later they were done. Grandpa paid them $50 for their job and they left. They said it was a normally $100 job. A week later it rained and I swear if the stuff doesn't run off! It was like poster paint! My grandpa paid for poster paint! I don't suggest you get your driveway sealed unless you know the guys or the company.

Wow! Good report! My grandparents were approached by some folks doing driveway sealing too. The people never came back though. Maybe they were fraudulent and got caught or got scared they were going to get caught and stayed away.
