As many problems as I have heard about Chase and their customer support, this thread may take on a life of it's own. I can't believe the way they handle their accounts. It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing. They kept insisting that we missed a payment even though we provided documents showing that we did not. They have actually done this a few times over the past several years. So, we make sure we keep very precise records. We have come to the conclusion that they must want our home really, really bad. We are in a good location with the possibility of a new highway coming through and therefore if they did manage to foreclose they could make a killing off of it.

I have a friend who had the same problem with them. She said she had bank statements to prove that she was not late and they refused to accept them as proof. Come on!

Sounds like Chase is trying to become Citimortgage! I have heard these types of horror stories about Citimortgage too. Big companies should be past this type of activity. When will the lawsuits against them begin?
