Car Company Come-ons

Car Company Come-ons

This one didn't really cost me any money but it could have. I got a letter form a local car dealer, telling e that if I brought it the letter, my code number would match up to either a new car, $7500.00 in cash or a gift certificate worth $1500.00 in merchandise. Naturally I got the gift certificate. I checked out the deal and you have to go to a website, and use up your certificate at one shot. However all the merchandise you might want to get from the site has a minimum or $25.00 shipping an handling. IF you used the entire $1500.00 certificate up, you would likely have had to spent $500.00 or more in shipping this crappy merchandise.;

Well then it is your choice to make take those things. Remember the whole point of those letters is to get people to the dealership and hopefully get them to buy. I do not think they really ever get a bunch of people actually getting any of the merchandise. It is really for promotion only.
