Best Price USA
We were signed up by this company when we accepted a free item online. I didn't realize it until one month I went to pay a bill and there was no money in our checking account. I don't remember what they were charging but I immediately called this place and asked who they were and what they were doing. Come to find out when I accepted the free service item (and used my debit card for the "small shipping charge") I was signed up for a monthly subscription with this company which allegedly sold things "at cost". I quickly contacted Florida's Better Business Bureau and reported them. I had to cancel my bank account and start a new one and was quite put out. So if you ever hear of his company-don't bite!

This is called a forced continuity plan and the FTC is looking into these right now. There are a lot of online companies that are pulling this crap. The continuing charges are buried in the fine print of the letter that you eventually get but most people don't even read it all. Then they are surprised by whopping charges for stuff they didn't even know they were signing up for.
I didn't know such a thing even existed. I was sure bilked out of a bunch of money and had to really scrimp that month to make it. They cleaned me out big time. I sure let one manager at that company know about it though. I kept calling day after day until I got tired of it and just quit.
That's horrible. I have become very wary of free things on the internet. You never know what they are going to do with your information. It's not worth the thing they're giving away in the first place.
I believe it is a kind of bait and switch. You think you are getting a freebie as advertised and find out you signed up for something entirely different. Somebody with a little clout has to take these idiots to court and have a judge put them in their place. Problem is they bank on the little guy not knowing their rights and or not having the means to assert their rights.
I, too, have been "had" with these kinds of companies and their scams. It scares me to death now to order anything only with a creditMoney loaned or the ability of an individual or company to borrow money. or debit card. So much so that I only order from reputable online companies like Overstock.com and L.L. Bean.
I heard about that! My friend was robbed blind for months. They charged him some sort of subscription once he gave them the creditMoney loaned or the ability of an individual or company to borrow money. card info. Awful!
I have heard of some places online that offer legal advice doing things like this of course they are scams but people still fall for it. Never thought it would hit the retail side though.
Once you give the creditMoney loaned or the ability of an individual or company to borrow money. card info, best believe you will be charged for something! All the free trials you see nowadays require you give up your credit card information. Nothing will be charged to your card ... yeah right!!!!! I see the authorizations against my card immediately and they hold money on your card for a few days. I have to cancel these free trials immediately and watch my card for the next few months to make sure they don't charge anything on my card.
Exactly slim! Once you give the creditMoney loaned or the ability of an individual or company to borrow money. info it's all over. If that company want's to collect your money they will do it very sneaky by making up some non-existing fees and subscriptions or robbing you out completely without any shame.
The only advice I can offer is that, if you're going to sign up for some trial, don't use your regular creditMoney loaned or the ability of an individual or company to borrow money. or debit card. Instead, buy a prepaid card, no more than a $25 one. That way, if they try to charge you for more, they can't. Don't ever use your bank card or debit card to sign up for a trial offer.
