Auto Glass Insurance Scam

How in the world did this guy get away with this for so long? I can't report any claims to my insurance company without them raking me over the coals! And how in the world did he collect all the money? My insurance company pays the repair companies directly.

"According to court documents, he scammed nine different insurance companies and submitted over 400 fraudulent claims between 2001 and 2005 for auto glass repair that was never performed."

He collected over $100,000 in claims from 9 different insurance companies over a 4 year period. I have friends who can't get auto insurance because they have filed more than one claim. They get "blacklisted" by the insurance companies. How this guy slipped through the cracks for so long is astonishing.

Absolutely amazing! I think the man was from Phoenix. My insurance company and their friends would have never let me scamA confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; them for that long! I have a cracked windshield now that I am going to have to pay for fully since my deductible is more than the cost of the windshield.

What kind of damage did this guy have to his windshield for over $100,000!
