I would like to know from the people here in the forum whether or not they think that all investment opportunity other than say the stock market are scams or not. I know that so many people are falling for these things and wanted to know what you thought overall is.
Some of the ones online are but not all investments are scams. You need to make sure that you are working with a company that is reputable and well known and you will be fine.
I agree. Before entering an investment try to speak to others who are already part of it - ignore any phoney testimonials they publish, get a selection of real peoples opinion on email / MSN. And if it seems too good to be true, that's because it is!
Really you should be investigating the investment before you ever decide to really put your money into it. This ensures that you know what you are getting into before you do and helps the investment to be less risky.
I don't trust the Internet all that much as far as money goes, so I tend to take all "investment opportunity" e-mails as scams, even if there is the remote possibility that one might be legit.
Not all investment companies, online or offline, are scams. Forex is a very good way of investing but you need a lot, I mean A LOT, of knowledge about money and always be aware of fluctuations for that is where your money will increase. Online banks who offer big interests compare to normal banks are also legitimate as long as you know about that bank. There are other investment companies out there that are not scams but there are more scams than the real ones so be wary and investigate first before investing your money to a specific company or website.
This investment stuff is reliable only if it is offered by a reputed financial company. Once I almost got ruined after investing in a company next door. So be careful while investing.
Of course not all investments are scams! Many of them CAN be unfortunately, but if you can invest with a company that is truly worthy of your trust you should be alright I think.
Don't be taken in by some companies BS, unless you know somebody who has dealt with them before and can vouch for them.
I've never got as far as finding a real investment other than stock. I really wish that I could have; I would have gladly put up a small sum to get a steady return-even if that return was only small. A small return is better than losing it all!
By investments if you are referring to 'online investments' then I am afraid I'd have to say most of the online investments offered are ponzi that is every member investing is paid with the money of the member who joined and invested prior to him and thus , it will stop paying when new members stop investing . So, sooner or later it will end with investors losing their money. But if it's not online investments that you meant , then there are many investment options that are floated by reputed banks and financial companies. Those are worth considering and have a proven track record to back the promises they make to their investors.
