Amazon helps scammers and destroys resellers!
OfflineI was an Amazon Reseller for 8 years as a highly rated reliable partner. Amazon suddenly terminated the agreement on the basis of what is believed to be false claims by unscrupulous buyers or other resellers. This reseller was not offered a chance to respond to the claims, was not even told what items were questionable, what were the specifics of the claim or who was behind the claim. Amazon has a no tolerance and no verification policy regarding any claim by their buyer against even the most reliable longest term resellers.
Amazon offers no ability to communicate with a living person or even a real person via email. The only response is from automated emails that allow no response. The only path deemed to be available to elicit some response to this injustice perceived by this innocent Amazon Reseller is to present my case on this Internet site and the one I created at http://www.amazonresellers.info. It is hoped that the information presented here by the site author and by the other resellers referenced at http://www.amazonresellers.info will save other Amazon Resellers and potential Amazon Resellers from suffering the loss of livelihood experienced by those mentioned.
The Author is not accusing Amazon of intentional wrong-doing or fraud against the Amazon Resellers. If the mantra promoted by Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, that the buyer is always right is sincere then the following must be the unfortunate result of the implementation of this mantra:
* Resellers are not really buyers and may be treated unjustly
* Resellers are less than human and are not owed an explanation for any arbitrary actions by Amazon
* It is OK to allow scammers (buyers) to steal from resellers
* Any claims by buyers do not need verification if they are against resellers
* High ratings by long time resellers do not protect them from any buyer claims
* Amazon Resellers will not be protected from unscrupulous buyers
* Amazon Reseller complaints and suggestions will continue to be ignored
* Complaining resellers will be terminated
* Amazon Reseller Compliance Group will be isolated from resellers
* The Amazon Reseller Compliance Group may not be questioned by anyone, including Amazon Customer Support
* Super resellers that generate large revenue streams are not bound by community rules and poor ratings.

Wow, this is amazing. Is Amazon really this cruel to resellers? I have sold a few items through Amazon but the products just didn't move as fast as they did with eBay so I had to let Amazon go. Their payment system seemed to have less fraud than eBay's PayPal system. However, that doesn't say anything about how they treat resellers. I would think resellers are buyers, correct? Buyers who buy things to sell again?
