YTB Temporarily Lays off 49 Workers
I knew it was coming sooner or later!
YTB International Inc. has temporarily laid off 49 workers in an effort to stem losses, the company's CEO said. I knew what they were offering was too good to be true. What is weird is that the company says 49 layoffs is about 25% of its workforce! That means they have about 200 employees ... I thought they would have had more employes.

YTB Settles Pyramid Scheme Suit

The state of California accused YTB of being a gigantic pyramid schemeA pyramid scheme is an illegal multilevel marketing program in which people pay an entrance fee for the opportunity to recruit others to do the same. and YTB has settled the suit. The state and YTB have yet to reach an agreement, but this appears to be a huge blow to YTB. I have a number of brainwashed friends who believe YTB is legit even though their travel biz isn't paying them anything!
